Doctrine
"We Belive in the Apostolic Doctrine
Then they that gladly recevied his
word were baptized :and the same day there
were added unto them about three thousand
souls.
And they countinued stedfastly in the
apostles' doctrine and fellowship,and in
breaking of bread,and in prayers.(Acts 2:41-42)
Whosoever transgresseth,and abideth
not in the doctrine of Christ,hath not God.
He that hath abideth in the doctrine of Christ,he
hath both the Father and the Son.
If there come any unto you,and bring
not this doctrine,recive him not into your
house ,neither bid him God speed.(2 John 1:9-11)
Moreover,brethren,I declare unto
you the gospel which I preach unto
you , which also ye have recevied, and
wherein ye stand;
By which ye also are saved, If ye keep in
memory what I preach unto you,unless ye
have belived in vain.
For I deliver unto you firt all that
which I also recevied,How that Christ died
for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried , and that he rose
agian the third day according to the scriptures:(1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
Ther fore leaving the princeiples of the
doctrine of Christ ,let us go on unto per-
fection;not laying agian the foundation of
repentance from dead works,and of faith
toward God,
Of the doctrine of baptisims,and lay-
ing on of hands, and of resurrection of the
dead, and of eternal judgment.
And this we will do,if God permit.(Hebrews 6:1-3)
Know ye not, that to whom ye yeild
yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye
are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto
death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
But God be thanked, that ye were the
servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the
heart that form of doctrine which was deliv-
erd you.
Being them that made free from sin, ye be-
cause the servants of rightueosness.(Romans 6:16-18)
Now I beseeh you, brethern, mark
them which cause divisions and offences con-
trary to the doctrine which ye have learned;
and avoid them.(Romans 16:17)
Paul, and apostle of Jesus Christ by the
commandment of God our Saviour,and
Lord Jesus Christ,which is our hope;
Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith:
Grace, mercy, andm peace, from God our Fa-
ther and Jesus Christ our Lord .
As I besought thee to abide still at Esp-
esus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou
mightest charge some that they theach no
other doctrine.
Neither give heed to fables and endless
genealogies, which minister questions,rather
than godly edifying which is in faith : so do.
Now the end of the commanment is
charity out a purt heart, and of a good con-
science, and of faith unfeigned:
From which some having swerved have
turned aside unto vain jangling;
Desiringto be teachers of the law;un-
derstanding neither what they say, nor
whereof they affirm.
(1 Timothy 1:1-7)
For whoremongers, for them that de-
file themselves with mankind,for mensteal-
ers, for liars, for prejured persons, and if
there be any other thing that is contrary to
sound doctrine;
According to the glorius gospel of the
blessed God, which was commited to my
trust.(1 Timothy 1:10-11)
...Sin
Sin is the transgrestion of the law,or commandments of God (I John 3:4).The guilt of sin has fallen upon
all humanity from Adam until now (Romans 3:23). The wages of sin is eternal death (Romans 6:23;
Revalation 20:14) to all those who refuse to accept salvation as set forth in the word of God.
...Salvation
Salvation consist of deliverance from all sin and unrighteousness through the blood of Jesus Christ. The
New Tetament experience of salvation consist of repentance from sin, water baptisim in the name of the
Lord Jesus Christ for thr remission of sins, and the baptisim of the Holy Ghost, after which the Christan
is to live a godly life (Acts 2:36-41).
...Water Baptisim
Water baptisim is an essential part of New Tesament salvation and not merely a symbolic ritual. It is part
of entering into the kingdom of God (God's church, the bride of Christ),and therefore, it is not merely a
part of local church membership. (See John 3:5; Galatians 3:27).
...Mode of Baptisim
Water baptisim is to be administered only immersion. Paul said,"We are buried with him [Jesus
Christ] by baptisim (Romans 6:4;see Collossians 2:12) Jesus came up "out of the water" (Mark 1:10), and
Philip and the eunuch went down "into the water"and came up "out of the water" (Acts 8:38-39).
Jesus' death, burial, and ressurection are applied to our lives when we experience New Testament
salvation:"Repent [death to sin], and be baptized [burial] every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall recive the gift of the Holy Ghost [resurection." (See Acts 2:38;
Romans 6:1-7;8:2).
Sprinkling, pouring, or infant baptisim of any kind cannot be substantiaed by the Word of God, but are
only human tradition.
